{"id":1294,"date":"2015-08-14T13:04:41","date_gmt":"2015-08-14T11:04:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/modelblogal.wordpress.com\/?p=1294"},"modified":"2025-06-09T11:07:29","modified_gmt":"2025-06-09T09:07:29","slug":"navios-de-linea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/artesanialatina.net\/blog\/modelismo\/modelismo-naval\/navios-de-linea\/","title":{"rendered":"NAV\u00cdOS DE L\u00cdNEA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nav\u00edo de l\u00ednea se le llamaba a todo aquel buque que pudiera combatir un m\u00ednimo de potencia dentro de una l\u00ednea de combate. Apareci\u00f3 a finales del siglo XVI, en Inglaterra, como evoluci\u00f3n de los buques existentes, como el gale\u00f3n, ante los avances de la artiller\u00eda naval y las mejoras t\u00e9cnicas en los buques de vela. Su nombre se debe a una nueva formaci\u00f3n de combate de las escuadras navales, en la que los nav\u00edos se alineaban para formar un muro de artiller\u00eda que pudiera disparar simult\u00e1neamente.<\/p>\n<p>Era un tipo de buque de guerra de tres palos con aparejo de velas cuadras y de dos a tres cubiertas artilladas. No todos los nav\u00edos se pod\u00edan considerar de l\u00ednea, una de las condiciones necesarias era que tuviera m\u00e1s de 64 ca\u00f1ones, aunque en numerosos combates de la Real Armada nav\u00edos de 50 y 60 ca\u00f1ones formaban l\u00ednea acompa\u00f1ando a los nav\u00edos mayores.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n estaban los nav\u00edos de 1 puente, fragatas que dispon\u00edan de entre 20 y 40 ca\u00f1ones y su uso era sobretodo de escolta o para perseguir piratas, ya que al ser m\u00e1s ligeros eran mucho m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos y manejables.<\/p>\n<p>Fue a finales del XVIII cuando se dejaron de construir nav\u00edos de 64 ca\u00f1ones ya que perdieron la batalla contra los de 74 ca\u00f1ones.<\/p>\n<p>Los nav\u00edos de 74 ca\u00f1ones eran los m\u00e1s populares en su \u00e9poca estando presentes en la mayor\u00eda de las flotas por su gran maniobralidad y la potencia de fuego que pod\u00eda llegar a alcanzar.<\/p>\n<p>Un ejemplo de ellos es el San Juan Nepomuceno:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1296\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1296\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artesanialatina.net\/ES\/modelismo-naval\/barcos-experto\/22860--maqueta-de-barco-en-madera-san-juan-nepomuceno.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-1296\" src=\"https:\/\/modelblogal.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/08\/22860-1-s-juannepo.jpg\" alt=\"SAN JUAN DE NEPOMUCENO\" width=\"296\" height=\"296\" srcset=\"https:\/\/artesanialatina.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/22860-1-s-juannepo.jpg 700w, https:\/\/artesanialatina.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/22860-1-s-juannepo-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/artesanialatina.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/22860-1-s-juannepo-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 296px) 100vw, 296px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1296\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">SAN JUAN DE NEPOMUCENO<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Tras estos hermosos y potentes nav\u00edos de 2 puentes les segu\u00edan los de 80 ca\u00f1ones que, a pesar de ser tambi\u00e9n de dos puentes, su potencia de fuego y dimensiones le hac\u00edan parecer un nav\u00edo de tres puentes rebajados a dos cubiertas.<\/p>\n<p>Pero, sin lugar a dudas, el rey de la l\u00ednea de combate era el nav\u00edo de tres puentes, \u00e9stos eran buques que estaban armados desde los 90 ca\u00f1ones hasta los 118, conocidos como \u201cmeregildos\u201d.
