MICRO SHAPERS FOR SHAPING SLATS

The Micro Shapers C, belonging to the Micro Tools collection, are an exclusive tool in high quality stainless steel designed by the technical team of Artesanía Latina.

This set of Micro Shapers C allows you to shape/profile both wood and plastic strips, it is perfect to create moldings with different shapes to decorate your models.

Each set consists of three plates with about 15/16 shapes per plate, so you can get more than 45 different reliefs and designs on your miniatures.

The tool works by passing it through the wooden or plastic strip several times until you get the desired shape. For more information we attach a demonstration video.

DIMENSIONS OF THE MICRO PROFILING MACHINES C

The sizes that you can find in the micro profiling machines type C are the following:

1.5x5 mm, 2x5 mm, 1.5x4 mm, 2x4 mm, 3x4 mm and 5x4 mm.

In addition, the micro C-formers include special moldings for 1x3 and 1.5x4 mm slats. Not only do they shape a lath, they are calculated to give that piece a trapezoidal shape. Also, they allow to treat masts and spars of different diameters to reinforce them, so they are very useful for model ship maneuvers.

NOTE: Before using the micro-profiling machine, it is advisable to use sandpaper to remove any burrs, roughness or small irregularities. To do this, glide gently in one direction only, upwards.
