It forms an elastic, durable film with a semi-matt finish, resistant to rubbing and with high colour stability and retention.
100% acrylic paints, such as this water-based paint by Artesanía Latina, are the most used by the expert modeller, as they are the most suitable for airbrush application, although it can also be applied with a brush by diluting it with water. Indispensable in your modeller's workshop!
USES OF GUNPORT RED ACRYLIC PAINT FOR MODELS AND HANDICRAFTS
Gunport red acrylic paint for models and handicrafts can be used to paint the Artesanía Latina model kits and for all kinds of handicrafts.. They are perfectly suitable for use with airbrushbut can also be used with a brush.
These water-based acrylic paints can be thinned with alcohol or thinner They are less corrosive, less toxic and less deposited, i.e. they do not require much stirring to achieve a uniform texture.
The drying time of gunport red acrylic paint for models and crafts is very short as they usually dry to the touch in about 20 minutes at 20º at 70% RH and completely dry in one hour. If you need to apply a second coat, you will only have to wait approximately 6 hours. It is advisable to give it a coat of primer before applying our paints. The surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and properly prepared.
