How to buy

1A. If you are a new customer, you have two options to buy: one, select the products you want. To do this, use the SEARCH (box) at the top of the web page and enter the words you wish to search for, or click on the different CATEGORIES that also appear at the top of the web page. Once you have found the desired product/s, go to point 3 of these instructions and once you have done all the following steps, fill in the data requested in the section QUICK BUY (new users).

1B. If you are a new customer, you can also first register on our website. Click at the top where it says"LOG IN. If you are already registered because you are a customer, click on "LOG IN" and fill in the fields "ARE YOU ALREADY REGISTERED?

2. Search for "CREATE AN ACCOUNT" and start filling in the requested information.


3. Navigate through the web introducing in your shopping basket the items you want by clicking on the "BUY" button that you will see next to the price of each one of them.


4. When you click on the"BUY" button each time you are interested in a product, you will see a pop-up window asking you if you want to pay, so you must choose "GO TO CHECKOUT" or click on the logo button, which appears at the top right, in which you will see a SHOPPING CART. You will be redirected to your shopping cart where you can modify, if you wish, the quantity of each item or delete any of the items you have previously added. If you wish to continue shopping, click on"CONTINUE SHOPPING".


5. When you have finished, you must choose "GO TO CHECKOUT". In step 3 of the shopping cart on the website (ADDRESS), you must click on "CHECKOUT".

6. In step 4 of the shopping cart on the website (SHIPPING), click on the little square next to the message "I have read and accept the general terms and conditions of sale" and then click on "GO TO CHECKOUT".

7. Choose the payment method: "PAYPAL PAYMENT" or"PAYMENT BY CARD". Continue with the process. You can consult your order history, your current orders and your invoices at any time in your customer space "MY ACCOUNT".

Currently, the payment methods accepted by EXCELLENCE MODEL KITS S.L. are payment by debit or credit card, by PayPal or cash on delivery (this last option is only applicable in the Iberian Peninsula), and by bank transfer (only for spare parts).

SSL ENVIRONMENT:

The 3D-SECURE card payment system on our website is provided by the bank LA CAIXA DE CATALUNYA. The verification of the identity of the client prior to the acceptance of the purchase is carried out by an encrypted system designed by VISA.

VERY IMPORTANT: In order to use your credit card you must first validate it by your issuing bank within the VISA VERIFIED or MASTERCARD SECURECODE system. Only cards that have been previously validated by this system can be used for purchases on our website. Without this prerequisite the system of our website will reject your purchase attempt.

When you proceed with your purchase, the system will ask you for the following information:

  1. Your card number
  2. The expiry date
  3. The C.I.P. (Personal Identification Code) of the card.

If your issuing bank is not a member of the VISA VERIFIED & MASTERCARD SECURECODE programme, you will not be able to use your card as a payment method on our website.

Payment for orders can be made using the following methods:

  • Payment by credit or debit card. We reserve the right NOT to accept certain credit card payments.
  • Payment by PayPal (when certain conditions are met).
  • Payment by bank transfer (only for spare parts and for orders from countries not listed on our website).


EXCELLENCE MODEL KITS S.L. reserves the right to change the methods of payment, being able to create new ones or eliminate some of the existing ones, without the user/customer of ARTESANÍALATINA.NET being able to make claims for this reason. However, if the change in the method of payment affects an order already placed, from ARTESANIALATINA.NET we will contact the customer to inform him of the change, offering the option to cancel the order if deemed appropriate.



Payment by credit/debit card.


The charge is made online, that is to say, in real time, through the payment gateway of the corresponding financial entity and once it has been verified that the data communicated are correct. In order to provide maximum security to the payment system, ARTESANÍALATINA.NET uses secure payment systems of leading financial institutions in electronic commerce.

In this sense, the confidential data are transmitted directly and in encrypted form (SSL) to the corresponding financial entity. The SSL encryption system that we use confers total security to the transmission of data through the network. Your data is completely confidential and protected.

Credit card details are not recorded in any of our databases. They are only used in the virtual POS (Point of Sale Terminal) of our financial institution, through its Secure Payment Gateway.

Credit cards will be subject to verification and authorisation by the issuing bank, but if the issuing bank does not authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we will not be able to enter into any Contract with you.


EXCELLENCE MODEL KITS S.L. reserves the right to verify the personal details supplied by the customer and to take any action it deems appropriate (including cancellation of the order) to ensure that the goods purchased are delivered in accordance with the details given in the order.


Payment with PayPal:

Payments with PayPal are made directly on the PayPal website, following the conditions of use established by PayPal. If the order is not paid within one hour, the order will be considered cancelled.

Payment by bank transfer:

(Exclusively for the purchase of spare parts and for orders from countries not listed on our website).

Payments by bank transfer can only be made to purchase spare parts from our central warehouse to complete your model or repair your tool, as well as for orders from countries not listed on our website. When requesting a part/s, please send an email to web@artesanialatina.net and indicate the references of the part/s and the model you have, as well as your full name, address, telephone number and ID/Passport/National Identification Number,

we will reply with a quotation and if you agree with this you will proceed to make the transfer. Once completed, send an email to the same address with the proof/receipt of the transfer.

When you wish to place an order from a country not included in the list of shipments on our website, send to web@artesanialatina.net the reference of the model or tool with the data requested in the previous section. The procedure is identical to the one described above.
